FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Oldham Goodwin Group, LLC announces the groundbreaking of SpringHill Suites® by Marriott located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Construction of the 6-story, 170 room, all-suite hotel began today and is being overseen by Oldham Goodwin Development.
Located at 2315 North Main Street, the 133,000 square-foot hotel is positioned to attract business and leisure travelers who desire the higher level of amenities and services of an all-suite hotel. Guests will enjoy spacious rooms, a gigabit of fiber, over 9,600 square feet of indoor and outdoor pre-function space, an event courtyard, business center, conference and banquet space, fitness center, and outdoor pool. The hotel’s top level will feature presidential suites and a rooftop bar overlooking downtown Fort Worth and the new Panther Island redevelopment project.
The property was designed by Atlanta-based Niles Bolton Associates. Studio 11 Design, a Dallas boutique design firm, will handle interior design. The architectural design as well as customizations in the lobby and common areas will ensure the property complements the historic character of the Stockyards. Arch-Con Corporation has been selected as the general contractor.
Construction is expected to take 17 months with an opening date in the summer of 2019.
