Providence Park
Providence Park is the newest ecosystem of offices, manufacturing, restaurants, & retail space in the Brazos Valley. A former Westinghouse corporate facility, Oldham Goodwin Development acquired the property in 2016 and quickly went to work redeveloping the site due to its optimal location and potential to perform as an integrated space to attract businesses of all types. Simultaneously, the site offered an ideal setup for supporting businesses, including restaurants and retail.
Oldham Goodwin Capital first acquired the approximate 54-acre site, seeing the potential for redevelopment. The site included an existing 180,000 square foot former Westinghouse building.
Redevelopment of 180,000 sqft former Westinghouse building
Our Development Group quickly went to work, handling entitlement and planning to re-plat the site including 14 acres and 5 shovel ready pad sites zoned for general commercial along the site’s frontage. In addition, the site included another 12 acres in 2 pad sites for future research & development and flexible industrial uses.
Finally, Oldham Goodwin developed a brand- new Academy Sports & Outdoors as a build- to-suit location on one of the frontage lots. Overall, Providence Park is a fine example of redevelopment and innovative reuse of what had become a dormant and limited single business location.
Oldham Goodwin’s Commercial Management / Brokerage Services groups currently handle all leasing and management of tenants at Providence Park.
