BRENHAM, TEXAS – The Blinn College Alumni and Friends Association celebrated six civic leaders during its Hall of Honor induction ceremony Friday, October 15, 2021, at the Blinn College-Brenham Campus. Among those honored were Oldham Goodwin’s President and COO, Hunter Goodwin who also serves as the RELLIS External Academic Advisory Council Chair.

Others honored at the ceremony included alumnus and Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative General Manager/CEO Matt Bentke, decorated military veteran and Blinn Foundation Board of Directors member Dr. A.C. “Buddy” Krizan, former Blinn College Foundation Director and Blinn alumnus Kenneth Mutscher, alumnus and Germania Farm Mutual Insurance Company Director Dathan C. Voelter, and alumnus and former Blinn College trustee Steve Westbrook.

“It is always special to be included among such elite company,” said Goodwin. “The work that Blinn College is doing for our area is second to none and will have a lasting impact for generations to come. I’m proud to have the opportunity to play even a small role in that on the RELLIS External Academic Advisory Council.”

BRYAN, TEXAS — Oldham Goodwin Capital, the real estate investment division of Oldham Goodwin Group, LLC, announced the sale of Palm Bluff Place, a 250-unit apartment community located in Portland, Texas, on September 17, 2021.

Located at 1825 Billy G. Webb Drive, Palm Bluff Place is a Class-A apartment community offering one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 705 square feet to 1,313 square feet. Units

feature modern custom finishes such as wood-style flooring, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and designer tile. Community amenities include a resort-style pool, resident lounge and clubhouse, fully-equipped fitness center, outdoor kitchen and grilling stations, technology lounge, and controlled access gates.

Construction of the apartment community began in 2016 and was supervised by the Oldham Goodwin Development division. Upon completion in 2017, the Oldham Goodwin Multifamily division managed the property and reached stabilization within 9 months.

“Palm Bluff is an excellent example of Oldham Goodwin’s full-spectrum of real estate services working seamlessly together to maximize the value for our stakeholders,” said Casey M.
