Bryan, Texas—The Oldham Goodwin Group, LLC, in conjunction with the City of Bryan, is pleased to announce the development of Lockhart’s famous Kreuz Market, right here in the Brazos Valley, bringing its famous BBQ and sausage to Central Texas. It will be located on the northwest corner of the Boonville Town Center Development, fronting Highway 6.
This will be the first Kreuz Market location outside the original location in the City of Lockhart, the BBQ Capital of Texas.

Refrigeration was not very good at the turn of the century and no one wanted to throw away good quality meat. So Kreuz began to barbecue, by smoking meats and sausage out of the fresh cuts that had not sold.
