Two Oldham Goodwin hotels received honors in the Marriott Select Brand Awards ceremony held on Monday, June 6. SpringHill Suites Fort Worth Historic Stockyards received both the Platinum Circle Award and the Food and Beverage Satisfaction Award while SpringHill Suites Dallas Rockwall received the Silver Circle Award. Erik Wyatt, who served as GM of the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Fort Worth Historic Stockyards until late 2021, also was named SpringHill Suites General Manager of the Year.
SpringHill Suites Fort Worth Historic Stockyards took home multiple awards, marking an exceptional beginning for a property that opened only a few months before the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Platinum Circle Award is reserved for the top 5% of hotels in the SpringHill brand based on customers’ Intent to Recommend scores. The Food and Beverage Satisfaction Award recognizes the top 5 hotels in entire brand in guest satisfaction scores in the area of food and beverage service.
Wyatt, now Oldham Goodwin’s Director of Operations for Hospitality Management Services, was selected from a group of four SpringHill Suites Diamond General Manager of the Year winners as the brand’s top General Manager for 2021.
SpringHill Suites Dallas Rockwall earned the Silver Circle Award, which recognizes the top 20% of hotels in the SpringHill Suites brand in customer Intent to Recommend scores.
