For a hotel to receive the Chairman’s Award for Quality Assurance, the property’s quality assurance score which is based on certain criteria such as condition and cleanliness of the hotel, must be in the top 5% of the average score for all Best Western properties in the nation. The hotel must also achieve and maintain the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence Award.
